Daily slang
Beleza, tranquilo, suave, valeu, bacana, massa, da hora, tipo assim. Each carries a slightly different warmth.
Valeu replaces obrigado among friends. Massa means cool. Bacana means nice. Da hora means awesome.
Regional flavor
Mano in São Paulo is like dude. Bicho in Salvador is similar. Cara works almost anywhere. Listen first, copy slowly.
